Herbalife is a network marketing or direct sales company that has been in business since 1980 and launched in Los Angeles, California. Herbalife has well over 2 million distributors in over 80 countries around the world.
Herbalife products are also one of kind with top notch ingredients in the health, wellness, and fitness niche. What makes Herbalife unique is that their products are only available through herbalife distributors.
Herbalife also started a Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) and its Casa Herbalife program to help bring good nutrition to children in need.
They also sponsor world-class athletes, teams and events around from around the globe, including the LA Galaxy and FC Barcelona soccer clubs, as well as champions in more than 15 other sports.
Herbalife Scam – Yes or No?
So is there a Herbalife Scam? The truth is Herbalife is not a scam and it is a legit and by law a legal business that you can make money with. However there is one major hurdle that is facing the majority of Herbalife reps in their business. The product is good, the company is sound, however without mastering the skill of lead generation, most Herbalife distributors will continue to struggle every day.
I have heard some very good things about the products of Herbalife. My biggest concern is that the products are overpriced like most network marketing companies. But I do think that the products hold value. When it comes to the products, making a ‘Herbalife scam‘ claim would not be fair if you have not looked at the products.
Herbalife Scam – #1 Problem Herbalife Distributors Will Face

However there is a major hurdle and struggles that faces the majority of Herbalife distributors in their business.
The product is good, the company is sound, and the compensation plan pays a decent commission to its distributors. BUT most distributors fail to ever build a successful business or even make a significant income.
Well over 90% of most people in the network marketing or direct sales industry tend to not make any extra money other than maybe to help pay for their product/monthly auto-ship every month.
Don’t get me wrong, being able to pay for your product and get it paid for/free every month is nice, but you most likely joined as a distributor to make extra money to help you pay for your bills, quit that second job, or to eventually quit your full time job, work for yourself and have a successful business.
The #1 reason or problem that most herbalife distributors face is their inability to generate highly targeted or qualified leads for their products or business opportunity.
Without mastering the skill of lead generation, most Herbalife distributors will continue to struggle every single day. No matter how hard you work, you most likely will always continue to struggle in your business.
